A
message from Madhuri and Judyth:
As
traveling teachers, we frequently fly across the country, and have come
to love the wrinkles and lines that appear on the face of our beloved
earth. The more crumpled, furrowed, twisted and craggy the
earth's surface, the less explored, cultivated, "improved" or used it
is for a purpose other then that of its own intention.
This makes us smile, and increases the
happiness lines around our eyes!
The
great liberation we have found, as our own woman beauty deepens with
age, is the freedom to be exactly who we are, to live our own rhythm,
to speak with our own voices.
This
continent's most impressive wrinkle is the deep cavern of the Grand
Canyon, Yet the hearth of this canyon, that influence that formed it,
is unseen from the air, just as the force that has shaped our unique
beauty lies patiently below the surface, knowing its own flow, cadence
and direction. What would happen if, like Alice, we slipped
through a great crevice of ourselves and fell into the mysterious
current that has always been running . . . roaring, skipping,
splashing, gurgling and giggling and weeping . . . contained
. .
. wild . . . risky . . . and serene?
The
Grand Canyon holds a key to who we truly are, and is the perfect sacred
site or a pilgrimage of gratitude . . . to explore the mysterious
beauty whose form we inhabit . . . through highly specific
yogic
practices, we will stretch and enliven the outer form, thus to gaze
more potently toward that inner shine. Ten, with magnificent
writing techniques, we will enter, with passionate listening, in the
boats of our writing, the great silence: rowing into sound, words,
messages and meaning
Please
join us for this life-changing weekend of great remembrance,
celebration, hilarity and heart-felt discovery, as we delve into the
secrets of the Grand Canyon, finding there the resonance, and
consonance of our own unique form.
